An exhibition of Russian education is being held in China. The exhibition was launched on 22 October at the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.
The exhibition is held in a combined format, with exhibition events complemented by a series of business meetings with educational organisations and visits to universities and schools. The travelling exhibition will run until 31 October. During the period of operation, the exhibition has already been held in such Chinese cities as Beijing, Qingdao, Jiaozhou and Jining. Ahead of the exhibition events in the cities of Xuzhou, Hefei and the end of the exhibition in Beijing. Ulyanovsk State Technical University takes part in the exhibition.
Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, opened the exhibition. He noted that President Xi Jinping attended the BRICS leaders' meeting in Kazan, where the topic of humanitarian exchanges, culture, science and technology attracted great attention. It is hoped that through this event, the two sides will strengthen cooperation and exchanges in various fields, which will give a new impetus to the development of the two countries.
Tatyana Urzhumtseva, Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing, noted that educational development is the key to a successful future. She noted that only through close co-operation between Russia and China in the educational sphere, we will be able to achieve common goals.
Ulyanovsk State Technical University is represented at the travelling exhibition of Russian education in China by Pavel Pazushkin, Director of the International Institute, and Liu Danhui, lecturer at the UlSTU Center for Foreign Language Studies. A total of 13 universities from Russia take part in the exhibition.
