"UlSTU is a big friendly family" - Ulyanovsk State Technical University hosted a meeting with young families
At the end of November, Ulyanovsk State Technical University hosted a meeting "Polytechnic Family", timed to coincide with the Year of Family in Russia. The event united young married couples of students and employees of the university.
The event was attended by the Rector of UlSTU Nadezhda Yarushkina and the Vice-rector for youth affairs Guzel Shigabetdinova.
"By the decree of the President of Russia, 2024 has been declared the Year of the Family. Family is the foundation of our society, our main value. I fully support Lev Tolstoy's statement: "Happy is the one who is happy at home". Today we are gathered at the meeting to support our young families. Regardless of the difficulties, strive not just to maintain stability, but to be truly happy" - Nadezhda Yarushkina emphasised.
During the meeting, the participants discussed current problems of modern families and ways to overcome them. Creative performances and presentation of the project "Polytechnic has connected us" were prepared for the guests. Family dynasties told about themselves, shared their successes and traditions.
