On 13 December Ulyanovsk State Technical University was visited by Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Mai Huong, Consul General of the Consulate General Nguyen Bat Zuong and Vice-Consul of the Consulate General in Ekaterinburg Nguyen Hai Huong Linh.

The guests got acquainted with educational programmes, directions of scientific research and experience of international activities of the university. On the part of Ulyanovsk State Technical University Rector Nadezhda Yarushkina, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elena Surkova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Andrey Klimovsky, Director of the International Institute Pavel Pazushkin participated in the working meeting.

"UlSTU is ready for active co-operation with universities in Vietnam. We already receive students from your country, and our aspiration is to strengthen and expand these ties. International partnership remains our priority. The exchange of experience, knowledge and technology will contribute to the development of both countries and strengthen cultural ties. We are open to new initiatives and ready to jointly implement projects that will benefit students, teachers and society as a whole" - said Rector of UlSTU Nadezhda Yarushkina.

A tour of the training and production cluster in the field of radio electronics and the training and production complex of modern technologies in mechanical engineering was organised for the guests.
