On the eight of December vaccination against COVID-19 of university students from Iraq, Tajikistan and Egypt took place at the Ulyanovsk State Technical University medical center.
About 70 people were vaccinated with the Sputnik Light vaccine.
" We carry out vaccination not only at universities, but also at the enterprises of the city. Foreign students of UlSTU have approached this issue in an organized and responsible manner, it is important for them to form collective immunity" - noted Elena Pimonova, a therapist of Hospital № 2 of the Central Clinical Medical and Sanitary Part named after V.A. Egorov.
" I recently turned 18 and decided to get vaccinated against coronavirus. It is important for me to protect not only my health, but also the health of people around me. It is very convenient that you can get vaccinated on the territory of the university, since I am not quite well oriented in the city yet" - the student Zebuniso Gafurova told.
It should be noted that vaccination of foreigners in the Ulyanovsk region began in October of this year. Hospital № 2 of the Central Clinical Medical and Sanitary Part named after V.A. Egorov is the first medical institution in the region where foreign citizens can be vaccinated against COVID-19
