Ulyanovsk State Technical University hosted an international scientific-practical conference on foreign language learning technologies

From January 20 to 21, UlSTU hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Modern technologies of teaching foreign languages". More than 70 lecturers from Russian and foreign universities, including linguists from Greece, Algeria, China, and Belarus, participated.

"The main purpose of the conference is to share best practices and knowledge in the field of teaching foreign languages" - noted Nasima Sharafutdinova, Ph.D. in Philology, professor, head of the Foreign Languages Department.

The plenary session and four breakout sessions discussed topical issues of linguodidactics and methods of teaching foreign languages, new trends in language research, modern issues of linguistics, translatology, intercultural communication and terminology, as well as electronic technologies in the practice of language teaching.
