The Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg Dinh Van Dong visits Ulyanovsk State Technical University.
In October , the Ulyanovsk State Technical University was visited by the Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg, Dinh Van Dong.
The guests got acquainted with promising educational programs, areas of scientific research and the experience of international activities of the university. UlSTU Rector Nadezhda Jarushkina, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elena Surkova, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Alexey Namestnikov, Deputy Director of the International Institute Ekaterina Glukhova participated in the negotiations.
Currently, eight people from Vietnam are studying at UlSTU. Foreign citizens receive education, including at the graduate school of the Ulyanovsk State Technical University. As the rector of UlSTU Nadezhda Jarushkina noted that the university is interested in further expanding opportunities for cooperation.
"Russia and Vietnam have developed good partnership relations in the field of education, I myself received higher education in Russia. It is worth noting that it is difficult for Vietnamese students to study in your country, so we express our gratitude to the leadership of Ulyanovsk State Technical University for the help, support and creation of favorable conditions for students from Vietnam" - The Consul General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Ekaterinburg Dinh Van Dong stressed.
Also the delegation was particularly interested in the Preparatory Faculty, which is part of the International Institute of the Ulyanovsk State Technical University. The department provides training in Russian as a foreign language for students of additional educational programs, as well as students from among foreign citizens studying at UlSTU under higher education programs.
